CBA partner DRM in promoting Digital Radio Enterprise Award – Pacific Islands 2014

The DRM Consortium launched its Enterprise Award to be presented to an individual or an organisation that has promoted Digital Radio Mondiale successfully, applied innovatively and actively introduced DRM in a specific market.

The first DRM annual prize is to be awarded in 2014 to the Pacific Islands at a suitable event to be announced soon. The winner of the cash prize will be selected by an independent board of specialists, made up of representatives drawn from organisations within the region and representatives of the DRM Consortium.

The members of the panel for the Pacific Islands DRM award are: Mr Francis Herman, Program Manager, PACMAS, Port Vila, Vanuatu; Mr Shelton Neth, Commissioner and CEO, Phonpei Public Broadcasting Corporation, Federated States of Micronesia, Ms Linden Clark, Manager, Radio New Zealand International, Wellington and Ms Nanise Fifita, General Manager, Radio & TV Tonga, Nuku’alofa, Tonga. DRM is represented by Dr Albert Waal, Head of Hardware Development, and RFmondial GmbH. The activity of the board is being coordinated by Mr Sharad Sadhu, on behalf of the DRM Consortium.
