16 May Central American and Caribbean Administrations Frequency Co-ordination Meet in Panama

The ITU VHF/UHF Regional Co-ordination meeting was well attended with representatives outside the area as well – the most distant from China. There was much interest in DRM for local coverage activity as well as the general technical merits and features of DRM.  The Titus II unit with Fraunhofer MMPlayer radio app. was also presented. Since several jurisdictions are contemplating digital expansion with varying interest in one or more digital standards, they were happy to hear that the Titus receiver solution can receive various digital broadcast options.
