DRM Consortium Chairman, Ruxandra Obreja, welcomes this latest development related to the DRM in the automotive industry:
“The car industry in India, and the rest of the world, is one of the biggest drivers in the transition from analogue to digital radio.as recent as January visitor to the BES event in New Delhi could see and experience the performance of a DRM car receiver powered by a latest generation NXP chipset. Since then the tests and work undertaken with the involvement of Indian experts just demonstrates that the progress of DRM in India is a reality and that the car industry is at the forefront of the Indian digital roll out.”
