China, March 19th – One week ago, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, a DRM Associate Member, honoured DRM Chairman Peter Senger with a lifetime award. Today on the award ceremony of Broadcast Technology Awards of China Institute of Electronics (CIE), during the 13th international Symposium on Broadcasting Technology (ISBT) in Beijing, China, Prof. Du Baichuan representing CIE honoured Senger with a special awards for his contribution to the development of the DRM standard. Senger devoted this award to all DRM members.
