Diveemo, the small-scale video service enabling distance learning applications for DRM, was presented as an early preview. During the DRM event on April 11th at the Continental booth, participants could experience a Diveemo video rendering on a modified NewStar/Uniwave DRM receiver in a DRM30 shortwave configuration. At the Nautel booth, Fraunhofer and RFmondial broadcasted a Diveemo service as part of a DRM+ live transmission chain. Journaline, DRM’s enhanced text information service, was shown as an integrated feature of DRM capable receiver solutions at the Fraunhofer IIS booth. This includes a DRM30 and DRM+ capable Analog Devices receiver chipset as part of a prototype reference platform, as well as the now available Uniwave DRM receiver.
