If DRM allows for pictures on the screen then Journaline can embed the images. Doesn’t this mean that this could be the alternative for slideshow? [RAJESH KURIAN]

Correct. However, Slideshow – similar to the DRM text messages – is a passive service where the broadcaster defines the sequence of slides and the time of update on the screen. Therefore, a Slideshow service should always present some useful information to be shown whenever the listener decides to glance at the screen. Slideshow is not intended for detailed information (such as text) or on-demand information (such as structured weather forecasts, for example). For those on-demand access to information, Journaline is the appropriate application.
