DRM with its digital and compression capabilities can deliver audio and accompanying visual materials by using terrestrial broadcasting. DRM can deliver up to three audio programmes and one data channel on one frequency in AM or FM. One of these extra digital channels could be even used for education and schooling only. The pupils can be supplied with specially created teaching materials, including those from the internet, books, articles, graphs, and pictures. DRM receivers can be traditional desktop radios, but also mobile phones and tablets fed by a superior DRM receiver with enabled Wi-Fi capability that plays the role of receiving device and distribution station for both audio and data.
