There is a short and long answer to this important question. In short, true and best simulcasting can be provided in all frequency bands and with unparalleled flexibility in DRM alone. The long answer is that what broadcasters opt for will depend on whether analogue and digital simulcasting is to be done from one analogue transmitter or from one analogue transmitter but also adding a small digital transmitter (especially for FM). The latter option is in our view best (for FM) as it ensures spectrum and energy savings, no interference and flexibility of spectrum use in the band. For a full explanation go to:
