DRM E-Learning
The DRM digital radio e-learning option enables the delivery (even at great distances) of audio lessons accompanied by texts and pictures — without the need for internet connections or expensive devices. This makes education possible in remote areas, during crises, or wherever access to online content is limited or unavailable.

Explore three interactive DRM e-learning demos
Experience DRM transmissions that you can play and interact with – just like on a real radio,
or on a standard tablet connected to a radio via Wi-Fi hotspot, each demo representing a single on-air broadcast.
The demos were created by DRM Consortium members Encompass, Fraunhofer IIS, and Starwaves,
together with the DRM Project Office and partners Festo and Edutab Africa.
What these demos illustrate: DRM enables the delivery of audio lessons in several languages
accompanied by Journaline textbooks in even more languages, with text lessons, graphics and quizzes.
This works without requiring internet connections or expensive devices, making education feasible
in remote areas, during crises, and anywhere internet access is limited or unavailable.
