Bringing Irish Radio to Europe

RTÉ, Ireland´s National Television and Radio Broadcaster, has just upgrated its longwave transmitter to the new DRM standard. RTÉ´s longwave 252 is the first installation of its type outside of Germany. The new system can now broadcast a clear FM-like sound accross the UK and part of continental Europe.
