On the eve of IBC 2024 the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) Consortium invited all those interested to get updated on the latest global progress of the standard.

The developments in countries like China, Indonesia, India, and other countries were all received. The Emergency Warning Functionality in action and the possibilities of delivering education and information , even without, internet raised interesting questions.

But the most awaited part of the event was about the new receiver solutions and the end-to-end possibilities of DRM.
