DRM Presence at Important Expo in Cape Town, South Africa

The 4th Industrial Revolution Expo was an event organized by the South African Parliament at the its own building in Cape Town from 11 to 15 February 2019. The event has the full support of Parliament and of the SA Government and the Minister of Communications, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, its sponsor.  Trevor la Grange represented the DRM SA platform at the event supported by Mr Kosie Burger of Pulpit Media Group.

It is very likely that this will become an annual event, as the event is being prepared for hand-over to the new Cabinet after the May 2019 elections.

The DRM presentation was forwarded to Mr Kosie Burger of RADIO CAPE PULPIT and this was added to the presentation carousel, which comprised presentations from all the organisations exhibiting and presenting at the Expo. The opportunity was used to stress the possibility of creating jobs in the country, particularly of the TITUS II digital radio receiver, displayed at the Expo.

The exhibition was housed in two halls of the Parliament building. There were approximately 35 exhibitors covering diverse fields such as health, electric cycles and scooters, ground formation monitoring by satellite and the SKA project. Over 500 people visited the exhibition and the round table event was attended by about 200 people.

The Honourable Minister of Communications, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, was the keynote speaker at the round table.
