28 Oct DRM present at the 50th ABU General Assembly

The 50th ABU General Assembly was opened this morning by the Vietnamese Prime Minister in Hanoi. The DRM Consortium was present and actively made the case for DRM in some of the committee sessions preceding the full assembly meeting.
The updated xHE-AAC codec adopted by DRM was introduced to the participants in the well attended technical committee session. The benefits of DRM featured in sessions of the radio and programme committees.
DRM also announced during the ABU GA the new Pacific Excellence Award 2014.
