The Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) Consortium is extending its Free Introductory Associate Membership offer to companies and organisations interested in finding out more about the global and open DRM digital radio standard and willing to promote and assist with its implementation.
Any such company or organisation can join the DRM Consortium by applying for a Free Introductory Associate Membership, which runs through the remainder of the current DRM financial year (April-March). This type of membership requires only a very small one-time registration fee and not the annual fee paid by regular Associate Members or Full Members.
Some of the benefits of this introductory free associate membership are:
- Members get the best B2B platform to meet and build contacts related to DRM business
- Members have a right to participate in the open sessions of the DRM General Assembly
- Members may be invited to participate and contribute to other events which DRM hosts or is part of
- Members have access to the monthly DRM newsletter posted on the DRM website
- Member companies’ logo is included on the DRM website
- Members may ask for technical advice, expertise and support for their internal DRM demonstrations and developments
Once this initial introductory period has ended, there is the option to either become a regular Associate or a Full DRM Consortium Member. The Full Membership offers voting rights, a possible seat on the strategic Steering Board and all the extra advantages of these types of membership, such as access to the members’ only area and agreed technical support for DRM demonstrations, product development and the DRM standard roll-out in the Member’s country.
