The German DRM Forum met on 6th and 7th November 2012 at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. One of the topics discussed was DRM+ in addition to DAB+ in VHF band III to complement the digital switchover for the local terrestrial radio. The University of Kaiserslautern in cooperation with Fraunhofer IIS and others demonstrated an early implementation of a DRM+ receiver prototype based on commercially available DAB receiver components.
