August 9, 2006: German private broadcaster OldieStar Radio has started DRM transmissions in Germany. Along with its cooperation partner and DRM member Voice of Russia, OldieStar Radio is broadcasting at 1.575 kHz from Burg, Germany (near Berlin). The high-power MW transmitter was built by DRM member TRANSRADIO SenderSysteme Berlin and the network operator is DRM member T-Systems Business Services GmbH.
