- Question
Have been working in commercial radio all my life. Why should we consider DRM for digitising our station, since FM is doing all right?

- Answer
Commercial radio broadcasters are struggling with declining revenue from on-air audio ads. To remain relevant and secure a solid audience base and revenue streams, commercial stations need to seriously consider digital radio DRM. The DRM digital radio standard, successor of analogue AM and FM band services, contains a whole toolset for the industry to embrace – from the ability of triggering listener interactivity, instant audience measurements and detailed listener targeting, to the firm integration of DRM’s Emergency Warning Functionality (EWF) in the national (CAP) based alert system.
