The quality of DRM audio especially in shortwave is still a technical miracle. Earlier in the year a DRM shortwave transmission from the UK was received in Australia. Recently one of our great supporters in Brazil (Francisco Braccini) received on his portable receiver GR-226BP and the pocket GR-220P receiver a programme broadcast by Voice of China.

The excellent sound travelled from China to Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, 14,800 kilometres (the frequency used was 9655kHz) demonstrating the power and quality of DRM over very large distances.
