In the week when the DRM Consortium will make its full standard presentation to the Science and Technology Parliamentary Commission and the Digital Council in Brazil, the first Brazilian company has joined the Consortium as a full member.
BT Equipamentos Eletrônicos Ltda (BT) is one of the major transmitter manufacturers in Brazil. In June this year, BT showcased the first DRM30 (medium wave) transmitter capable of DRM transmissions and simulcasting in Analogue and Digital at the 26th ABERT Congress in Brasilia.
