Is the DRM standard being revised now? Are there extra things that will come up on DRM?

(Indian journalist)

The short answer is no because there is no need. DRM has updated its technology in the past by including DRM mode for VHF band, Enhanced Packet Mode and above all xHE-AAC Audio Coding. It is therefore state of the art. The standard is considered stable. Innovation is now mainly happening on application layer, such as EWF Emergency Warning Functionality, Journaline based advanced use-cases such as Public Signage and Distance Learning/RadioSchooling, etc.
